LS04 V2 - The New Moonphase
The Loresum LS04 V2 is a true 29.5-day moonphase watch built around the Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement — upgraded with a gold-plated finish that glows warmly through the exhibition caseback. Each watch is fitted with a dial cut from genuine natural stone, chosen from Aventurine, Eisenkiesel, Bloodstone, or Garnet — no two ever identical. Flip it over, and an engraved moon rotor spins silently behind the glass, a mechanical echo of the moonphase above. Every detail considered. Every piece one of a kind.
A True 29.5-day Moon Phase, Built Our Way
At the heart of LS04 V2 is our customised moon phase module, built on the trusted Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement. We first developed this module for the Sellita version of the original LS04, and it quickly became one of the watch’s defining features.
Rather than fitting a simplified decorative moon, our system tracks the real lunar cycle of 29.5 days. The complication is driven by a 59-tooth gear module — the traditional mechanical solution that advances the moon disc by one step every 24 hours, completing a full cycle in 29.5 days. The moon rotates clockwise in a northern hemisphere display, and on LS04 V2 we have enlarged the aperture so the moon feels more present, more poetic, and easier to read at a glance. It is a traditional complication, interpreted entirely through our own design language.
Aventurine
Our original signature — the OG colour. Aventurine has always represented the night sky in our collection. Under light, its shimmering particles resemble distant stars scattered across a deep blue expanse. Paired with the moon phase, it feels almost literal: the moon floating in its natural habitat. These two simply belong together.
Eisenkiesel
Something more organic and cosmic at once. Its flowing mineral patterns and subtle tonal variations resemble the Milky Way stretching across deep space. Each dial feels like a captured galaxy. With the enlarged moon phase opening, the composition feels expansive — as if you are looking into the universe rather than at a watch dial.
Garnet
Mystery in stone form. Its deep crimson hue evokes the rare beauty of a blood moon — that striking, atmospheric moment when the moon burns red. Against this dark background, the moon phase becomes something unconventional: moody, enigmatic, and utterly distinctive.
Every stone dial is cut from natural material, meaning no two pieces are ever identical. Patterns, inclusions, and tones vary subtly from watch to watch. Nature ensures that each LS04 V2 is, in the truest sense, one of a kind.
Bloodstone
A deep, royal green enriched with natural red flecks. Historically associated with strength and nobility, its rich surface gives the watch a regal presence. The moon against this background feels bold and dignified — a powerful contrast that is both classic and dramatic.
Gold plated Sellita SW200-1
Inside, the gold plated Sellita SW200-1 powers the watch with our bespoke moon phase module attached. The SW200-1 is one of the most respected Swiss movements available today — 26 jewels, 4Hz (28,800 vph), self-winding with a 40-hour power reserve, and a smooth sweeping seconds hand that brings the dial to life. Produced in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, Sellita has built a strong reputation for consistent quality, long-term reliability, and wide serviceability. Parts are available from watchmakers around the world, which means your LS04 V2 can be maintained and enjoyed for decades. For a watch built to be worn every day, it is exactly the right foundation.
Moon-shaped cut-out
On the caseback, we added a quiet surprise: a decorative moon-shaped cut-out that echoes the moon phase display on the front. It is an Easter egg for those who take the time to turn the watch over and look closely.
The engraved rotor featuring a detailed relief of the moon. As the rotor spins with the movement of your wrist, the moon appears and disappears through the caseback window — a mechanical echo of the moon phase on the dial, playing out silently on the other side of the watch.
A Strap Designed to Age Beautifully
For the strap, we partnered with MONVES, a Hong Kong-based brand focused on sustainable luxury. The LS04 V2 comes fitted with an 18mm strap crafted from vegetable-tanned full-grain leather produced by Conceria 800 — a historic Italian tannery founded in 1969 in Santa Croce sull’Arno. The leather is soft yet durable, with a natural pull-up effect that gradually reveals richer tones and depth as it ages.
Both the top layer and lining are made from calf leather — an approach more typically found in higher-end straps. This delivers greater comfort against the skin, improved breathability, and stronger long-term durability compared with synthetic or split-leather alternatives.
Like the LS04 V2 itself, the strap is built to develop character over time, accumulating patina and personality as it accompanies you through daily life.
